- A valid UK driving licence appropriate to your vehicle class
- A DBS check (we can guide you through this if you don't already have one)
- Valid insurance for recovery or towing work
- A roadworthy recovery vehicle meeting our safety standards
How to join
- 1 Apply online with your licence, insurance and vehicle details.
- 2 Complete your DBS check and document verification.
- 3 Get approved and activated on the ECO Auto Recovery driver dashboard.
- 4 Start accepting jobs in your area.

- An MOT or annual test certificate is also needed where our team determines one applies to your recovery vehicle.
- Driving Licence, Commercial Recovery Insurance and MOT or Annual Test Certificate must show an expiry date, and must be in date for you to receive jobs.
- A DBS certificate has no expiry date; we record when it was issued and ask for a new check every 3 years.
- Every document is reviewed by our team. Jobs are offered only once your documents and your recovery vehicle are approved.
