How ECO Auto Recovery Works

We built ECO Auto Recovery around one idea: recovery shouldn't add stress to an already stressful moment. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you request help to the moment you're back on the road.

    Step 1: Tell Us Where You Are

    Enter your pickup location and destination. Use your current location, search by address, or enter a UK postcode directly.

    Step 2: Tell Us About Your Vehicle

    Select your vehicle type, car, van, motorcycle, EV or light commercial, so your job is offered to drivers registered to recover that vehicle type.

    Step 3: Get Your Price

    ECO Auto Recovery calculates your recovery price from your route, vehicle and recovery type. You see the complete price before you confirm, nothing vague, nothing hidden.

    Step 4: Get Matched

    Once you confirm and your payment method is authorised, our team checks your booking and our dispatch system finds the nearest available, fully vetted driver registered for your vehicle type.

    Step 5: Track Your Recovery

    You'll see your driver's name, vehicle and live location the moment they're assigned, with status updates at every stage: Matched, En Route, Arrived, Recovery In Progress, Completed.

Payment: authorised, then captured

We place a secure authorisation hold on your card when you confirm your booking. This reserves the funds without charging you. Once your recovery is verified complete, payment is captured automatically for the exact amount you agreed to. If you cancel before your driver sets off, the authorisation is released in full and you are not charged.

Good to know

What if no driver is available straight away?
Your booking stays in our dispatch queue, and our team can assign a driver manually. Nothing is charged while you wait, and you can cancel free of charge at any time until a driver sets off.
What if a driver declines my job?
It is offered to the next nearest available, approved driver registered for your vehicle type, automatically.
When is my card charged?
When you book, your card is authorised for the confirmed price: the money is reserved, not taken. It is charged only once your recovery is verified complete.
Can I cancel?
Yes, free of charge from your account until your driver sets off, and the hold on your card is released in full. After that, contact us straight away.
