Accident recovery is booked as its own recovery type. If your vehicle has been in a collision, choose accident recovery when you book, and tell our support team about any damage that could affect how the vehicle is loaded.

Pricing for accident recovery
Accident recovery is currently priced the same as a standard tow: a base fee plus a per-mile rate, with no additional surcharge. Your full price is shown before you confirm.
First, make sure everyone is safe
Recovery can wait until the scene is safe.
- If anyone is injured, or the road is dangerously blocked, call 999 before anything else.
- If you can, move away from traffic and switch on your hazard lights.
- UK law requires drivers involved in a collision to stop and give their name, address and vehicle registration to anyone with reasonable grounds to ask. If that is not possible, report the collision to the police as soon as you can, and within 24 hours.
- If it is safe, photograph the scene and the damage for your insurer.
Booking and paying
- You see the full price before you confirm, calculated from your pickup, destination, vehicle and recovery type.
- Your card is authorised when you book, and only charged once your recovery is verified complete.
- You can cancel free of charge from your account until your driver sets off.

My insurer offers recovery. Can I still book with you?
Yes, but check your policy first: some insurers include recovery or ask you to use their own provider. If you book with ECO Auto Recovery, you can share your booking reference with your insurer.
