Every car recovery job includes pickup from your location, recovery to your chosen destination, and a driver who has passed identity, DBS and insurance checks before joining the network.
How pricing works
Your price is calculated from the distance between pickup and destination, adjusted for standard car recovery rates. You see the full price before you confirm, and it does not change once your driver is matched.
When to use flatbed recovery
If your car will not start, has a mechanical fault, or you would rather not risk further damage from towing, a flatbed keeps all four wheels off the road for the whole journey.
What to have ready
A few details make the booking quick and help your driver find you first time.
- Your pickup location: a postcode, a street address or a nearby landmark.
- Where the car is going: your home, a garage of your choice or any other UK address.
- Your vehicle type, so the job is offered to drivers registered to recover it.
- Your keys, and anything you need from the car before it is loaded.
Booking and paying
- You see the full price before you confirm, calculated from your pickup, destination, vehicle and recovery type.
- Your card is authorised when you book, and only charged once your recovery is verified complete.
- You can cancel free of charge from your account until your driver sets off.

Can you take my car to a garage of my choice?
Yes. You enter the destination when you request a quote, whether that is your home, a garage or another UK address, and the price is calculated for that route.
Will the price change when the driver arrives?
No. The price you confirm is calculated from your pickup, destination, vehicle and recovery type before you book, and it is the price you pay.
Do I need breakdown cover or a membership?
No. There is no membership, subscription or joining fee. You pay for the recovery you book, and nothing else.
